On the way to the next tasting stop, you’ll take in one of Seville’s most original squares before popping into the local market. Here you’ll taste Spain’s most prized gem—cured acorn-fed Iberian ham!

Next up, your expert guide will lead you to a reminder of Seville’s Moorish past, and provide insider information on some of the city’s biggest cultural events.

Here you’ll taste the most popular food at Seville’s April Fair—fried dogfish, paired with a refreshing glass of Spanish white wine!

From Julius Caesar to Christopher Columbus and the Moorish conquest to the dark days of the Spanish Inquisition, Seville’s 2,000-year history is packed with famous figures, stories and events that dramatically changed the course of history. You’ll hear those stories and more as you explore Seville’s historic center, popping in and out of family-run bars and tasting the best tapas in the city!


You’ll start the night off at Seville’s oldest tapas bar, where you’ll enjoy the city’s classic aperitif—a glass of vermouth—paired with acorn-fed Iberian ham!

Afterwards, your expert guide will lead the way to a few interesting pockets in the city, and you’ll begin to see Moorish influence left and right. You’ll also come face-to-face with the remains of a Roman temple!

Next up, you’ll visit a tiny tapas bar you might miss if you’re not looking for it! This family-run stop serves fantastic orange wine, and you’ll also try cured Manchego cheese and slow-roasted pork belly drizzled with Spanish olive oil.

A historical walk through Seville wouldn’t be complete without seeing the city’s stunning cathedral. You won’t go inside, but you will get a quick lesson in the largest Gothic cathedral in the world while discovering its Roman and Moorish influences. You’ll then continue on to the beautiful Barrio Santa Cruz, where you’ll hear Seville’s very own version of Romeo and Juliet!

After meeting your expert food and wine guide in Plaza Nueva, you’ll make your way to one of Seville’s most traditional types of eateries—an abacería! Here you’ll enjoy a glass of vermouth just like the locals do, and it’ll be paired with an array of delicious cured meats.

On the way to your next stop, your expert guide will point out one of Seville’s most famous (and beautiful!) monuments. You’ll then make your way to one of the city’s oldest bars. Once inside, you’ll taste the things locals come back for again and again—beautifully cured acorn-fed Iberian ham, cheese and two types of sherry— a crisp glass of manzanilla sherry, and a richer, darker version called amontillado.

The final stop of the night will be quite unlike the previous two! In fact, this restaurant was one of the original pioneers in Seville’s gastro food scene.
