    What to Expect

You know that Seville is a magical city—but to your child, it seems like just another stop on your European tour. Bring the city to life for the little ones in your family on this private tour, especially thought out for 4 through 12 year olds. Get ready for games, wonder-filled stories and even a little Spanish practice. While exploring, we’ll make stops for two kid-approved snacks: churros with chocolate and cured Spanish ham & cheese

This private walking tour explores the city’s historic center. We’ll discover and learn about Seville’s main sights from the outside: Plaza Nueva, the Cathedral and Giralda, the orange tree courtyard of the Church of El Salvador and the Plaza de la Encarnación. Your dynamic guide will keep your children engaged throughout with stories of Spanish history. Think kings, saints, sultans, sailors and more! Kids will see Seville as never before, especially while looking all over the city for hidden symbols, seeing Roman numerals come to life, and racing through a traditional market!

About one hour into the tour, it’s time for a mid-morning snack. We’ll make our first stop at the city’s most famous spot for piping hot churros and chocolate. Adults will enjoy a beverage of choice while kids learn all about Spanish culture and how kids their own age live in Spain.

After churros, it’s off to the “Setas” or “Mushroom” monument. The tour includes entrance to the Metropol Parasol, Europe’s largest wooden structure, so the group will head to the top for panoramic views of the city.

Towards the end of the route, you’ll make your second food stop inside a traditional, local market. We’ll visit a family-run stall to try cured Spanish cheese and Iberian ham, cut by a master ham carver! And don’t worry, we won’t ruin your appetite for lunch—but we will give you lots of tips for where to grab a bite after the tour.

When it’s time to say goodbye, your child will leave with a new understanding of Seville—and a memory they’ll remember for years to come!

And as with all Devour Seville tours, you’ll receive our Devouring Seville guide. Packed with all our favorite places to eat and drink in the city, put down your guidebook and get ready to experience Seville like a local!
