    TOUR SNAPSHOT:
Discover the city’s historic city center on a family-friendly walking tour of Seville with a fun, expert guide! Designed specifically for children from 4 to 12 years old, this family-friendly tour can be adapted with activities and conversation topics for each age group. You can even add language learning activities if your kids are interested in practicing Spanish!

    STOP BY STOP:
This tour explores Seville’s beautiful historic center, passing through the city’s main sights: Plaza Nueva, Seville’s Cathedral and Giralda Tower, the Orange Tree patio of Salvador Church, and Plaza de la Encarnación. This fun and dynamic experience will keep your children engaged throughout with stories of Spanish history—kings, saints, sultans and sailors! Activities and games may include searching for hidden symbols, learning Roman numerals and a race through an authentic Spanish market!

About one hour into the tour, we’ll make our first stop at the city’s most famous spot for piping hot churros and chocolate. Parents are welcome to enjoy a beverage of choice, and kids will learn all about Spanish culture and how locals their own age live in Spain.

After churros, it’s off to Incarnation Square, where the group will go up Seville’s emblematic Metropol Parasol for panoramic views of the city.

Wrap up the morning inside an authentic Sevillan market, where everyone will taste delicious Iberian ham and cured cheeses at a traditional, family-run stall.

And as with all Devour Seville experiences, your guide will give you a copy of our Devouring Seville guide, which is packed with all our favorite places to eat and drink in the city! So put down your guidebook and get ready to experience Seville like a local!

Great question! A Devour Seville food tour is a fun, fascinating and (most importantly!) delicious introduction to the incredible city of Seville. Our food tours visit some of the city’s best traditional eateries, including tapas bars, local markets, taverns and shops, and hidden gems that few even know exist! You’ll taste some of Seville's best local food, and gain fascinating insight into its age-old traditions. We keep our groups small and every tour is led by an English-speaking guide who knows Seville like the back of their hand, and loves it to bits.
Wandering the gorgeous streets of Seville's historic center, you’ll visit Seville's top sights on a tailored private tour for your family. Food is included too-- you'll taste and learn the difference between Spain’s world-famous array of cured hams (including the acorn-fed black-hoof variety), and stop at the city's most famous churros and chocolate shop.
With the exception of the Metropol Parasol, we do not enter any other monuments on this tour, but we do visit and discuss them from the outside!
Kids ages 5 and under come along for free. We won't order food for them, but they're welcome to share with the others, or separate orders can be facilitated.
The material on the tour is geared towards kids ages 6 to 12, but we can adapt the tour for all ages, or you may want to inquire about other kid and teen friendly small-group or private tours (like our Tastes, Tapas & Traditions of Seville Food Tour or our Evening Tapas & Flamenco Tour).
The tour lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on your family's pace. The walking distance covers approximately 2km / 1.3 miles.
Our family tours are private-- just for you! For small-group tours, see our Tastes, Tapas & Traditions of Seville Food Tour.
We want as many people to be able to enjoy our tours as possible. Scroll up the page a little to see what dietary restrictions this tour is adaptable for.
The tour does not include transport to the meeting place, or from the ending point (ask your guide for guidance at the end of the tour if you’re not sure where you are). Also, please feel free to tip your guide if you think they did a great job! The standard gratuity in the tour industry is 10-15%.
Most importantly, your appetite for food and knowledge! Also, keep in mind that tours take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if it looks like rain. Also, we recommend you wear comfortable shoes as you’ll be walking a few kilometres. Finally, while we do serve water on the tour at some stops, we recommend you bring a bottle of water.
