What to Expect on Your Tour

Bursting with color, passion and sunshine, it’s hard not to fall head over heels for beautiful Seville! This 2.5-hour walking food tour will help you dive deep into Seville’s culinary traditions as you visit family-run establishments and taste delicious local tapas and food. And because Seville is known to heat up in summer, you’ll finish just before the temperatures really start to rise, and conveniently, just in time for a siesta!

Start your morning off at one of Seville’s most popular local markets, where you’ll learn just how important they are to Spanish daily life. You’ll stop at one of the most important stands in the market—the ham stand!—where you’ll try the very best of the best cured Spanish ham.

On the way to your next stop, you’ll learn where people have been shopping since Roman times! The main street in this area also happens to house the next stop—one of the city’s oldest bars, where you’ll try freshly fried churros with piping hot coffee.

After that delicious snack, your expert guide will lead you to a few more of Seville’s hidden treasures as they walk you through some of its more unique cultural traditions.

Then it’s onto the next tasting stop! You’ll visit a bar you might miss if you weren’t looking for it! Opened in 1904 as a wine shop, it’s now one of the city’s best bars for traditional tapas. You’ll taste a unique orange wine paired with cured Manchego cheese and a tapa of slow-roasted pork belly.

Next, you’ll head to a family-run tapas bar locals adore and that has been in the same family for the past 30 years. Have a look at their list of delicious homemade tapas before ordering yours!

Finally, it’s time to end on something sweet! You’ll visit one of the world’s most famous (but still family-run!) ice cream shops. The only tough part here is choosing which flavor to order!

As always with Devour Seville tours, your guide will give you a copy of our Devouring Seville mini guide, packed with all of our favorite places to eat and drink in the city, so you’ll be eating well for the rest of your stay! Put down your guidebook and get ready to experience Seville like a local!

You’ll taste some of Seville's best local food, and gain fascinating insight into its age-old traditions. We keep our groups small and every tour is led by an English-speaking guide who knows Seville like the back of their hand, and loves it to bits.

Don’t worry, you won’t be part of a massive hoard following a guide with a flag or a flamenco fan!
